No Friday Knight Chess On Good Friday!

ECTC will be closing early on Friday April 22, 2011 for Good Friday, so we are going to have to Cancel Friday Knight Chess for this Friday! If some of you want to play Friday, then you can leave comments on this blog and perhaps find a meeting place. I wish you all a Happy Easter and we will see you next Friday!

We Had 8 Playing Chess Tonight!

I was able to play 5 games tonight! We had 8 players present and alot of games were played. We had a 9 year old boy as well as 2 women playing tonight and Stephanie was AWOL!
I don't think anyone recorded their games, so we can't share any games this time. Nick was present with his camera, so I want to thank him for the pictures.

Friday Knight Chess Is Open To All Ages!

Several devoted chess players turned out for Friday Knight Chess this evening. A new player, Amy, showed up and proved she was up to the challenge. She saw Bob and Darren playing at Panera Bread last Saturday and came to play tonight! Remember, Friday Knight Chess is open to all ages and is FREE!

We had a very good turn-out for Friday Knight Chess! There were alot of games played and alot of chess-talk! I was able to show and discuss a recent game that I played on chess.com. Here it is:

Friday Knight Chess A Go!

Friday Knight Chess went on last Friday with 3 players in attendance. I hope to be there this coming Friday and hope to see a few more players in attendance!

Friday Casual Chess Is Back On!

If you are interested in playing casual chess, come to the Elizabethtown Community & Technical College, Elizabethtown, KY; Occupational-Technical Building. We will meet in the break area, outside Room 303 at around 7:00 pm, starting Friday, March 11, 2011! All ages welcome.
